It's been a hell of the week. Monday we heard Raul's departure...house is full till next Thursday, garage reno hasn't finished, lack of parking for groups...etc.
Yesterday was a hellish day started with shouting guest.
Today was not as better with call from Cyril of parking issue.
What do you want me to do about it?
I cannot squat down and sh*t out parking spaces....when I don't have it, I don't have it.
Which part of I don't have it did you not understand?
But as usual, I am surrounded with idgits, sucking their thumbs and scratching their butts.
Do I have to do everything???

one week
One week without Mike is a bit difficult.
I don't have anybody bringing me a cup of coffee in the morning.
Nobody to turn on my car to be warmed....
I have to change the sheets on the bed but nobody to tuck the sheets in for me...
How inconvenient!
Am I that spoiled???
Yes...yes, I am.

Snow Day
Early yesterday afternoon, I took the Ambian in hope to get some sleep.
This morning, Mike informed me I slept for 12 hours. I was a bit groggy and dizzy but took a hot shower to wake me up.
I didn't know when it started but it snowed. TV was blasting "we are snowed to death" all over. But it snowed....quiet bit.
They said about 7 inches....
Mike when out to put the car to front of our housing in hope to be able to pull out at ease. Thank god for that thinking.
When I walked out, I was shocked to see how much snow there was.
Yup, if they said 7 inches, I believe it now.
We slowly walked up to the car and get it out of the spot in easy manner.
I was shocked to see the plow already came by and plowed the housing....which never happens.
Of course, me driving is NOT even conceivable so I let Mike drove me to work.
I was totally petrofied. Too scared to look and think. I kept my mouth shut and let Mike drive.
At the hotel driveway, saw John covered in snow but still plowing away....what a good boy.
I dropped my bag off in my office and put on my snow boots and went outside.
Cyril was trying to teach me how to use the plow which I didn't have any problem down hill but I wasn't able to move it up hill. I nearly fall flat on my face. But I had a great time, hanging out with guys.
Later on, I got an e-mail from Mike saying that his car was hit by a plow truck.
I wasn't able to comprehend but more talking revealed that a landscaping company who take care of the Geico parking lot plowed in to an Infiniti which was parked next to Mike's car.
It bothered me that that could happpen to my car at home.
I am glad I didn't drive but what if they plow into my parked car????
I know it's just my paranoia but I hope it doesn't happen to me.
Hotel is slow and quiet. Many cancellations but we are taking in many distress passagers which even out the revenue.
What a great snow day!!!

Why Asian people?
Feels that just because I am the Asian and I need to help them?
Not because they are qualified, just becasue I am Asian.
That's urks me a lot.

Gateway Laptop
I still feel the bubble of champagne on tip of my nose for New Year's Day 2009 but the February is almost over already.
Have I don't anything substantial so far? No, I cannot really think of anything.
However I am planning to pay off the Alienware and Overstock this month. And I paid 3000 in back tax for my car.
I still cannot believe they are charging me 2000 dollars a year on tax for my car.
I wish I can get out of it but no...Tax and Death I cannot avoid.
I have very mixed feeling about my new Gateway laptop. I like the look of it. Its slick and in deep burgundy. But it's very heavy and not easily movable for my puny self. I don't like the touch pad. It has some sort of texture which stops me from moving my fingers smoothly. Although it is a larger motherboard than Vaio, I have not yet this was faster.
I played game on it and refresh ratio is NOT noticeable.
Over all, if it wasn't the pricing and the look, I would recommend it to anybody.
Hahahaha....I sound like I am writing and feedback or something...
It's just once in awhile, my brain farts.
It's a hump day and I hope I will get though it quietly and nicely.

It was not easy to get up and come to work like I love to do.
I took Ambian CR last night so I went to bed around 7 and got up at 5. Enough sleep and I should feel great but most oppositly, I am not feeling that great. Perhaps I still have residual medicine in my system.
Weekend was a good one. B-boy went to see his father so the house was all to myself. Friday Elizabeth cleaned the house so I didn't have that much to do.
Saturday, I went to Fort Belvoir and got some unnecessary groceries....cookies..cookies...and odds and ends of nothing. Spent yet another 300 dollars for junk food. Then went to PX and grabbed a few Sheshido' stuff for my face...etc. And I picked up an Laptop from the Best Buy for 730 (tax included, it was 699). It's gateway and nice...this makes 6th laptop in the house.
You may ask why so many?
I don't know. I have not clue why I keep buying the laptops.
Alienware was total waste of money for 3000 dollars, Vaio is running sluggish, Compaque looks yucky...Dell is too big....etc. I make excuse after excuse for why I keep buy laptops...
This one had a good processor and big hard drive. I still want to buy external hard drive for my pictures and stuff.
This is my first Gateway, so we will see. I think what I want to do is buy evey brand and see which one I like the best. So far I had a good luck with Toshiba which I ran it to groud. I might give the Vaio to Stephanie the ungrateful girl.
And I can still play around with my compaque for games.
On Sunday morning, it started snow....heavy at times...and I craved for bagel and lox...so we ran out to Eistiens and got the lox. It was sooooooooooo good.
While we were there, we watched two homeless women in the corner of the restaurant putting on their make up. One looked like she did have some money in her previous life...the other one looks rough.
On our way home...I was glad I wasn't a homeless, yet.
And we watched movie. Put fire in the fire place and watched movies.
X file (the latest one) and The Savages. X file stunk....it stunk so bad, I feel sorry for the name. The Savages was a bit interesting story. Two kids trying to take care of an old and dying father... I really don't want to be somebody's burden when I get old.
I made M. promise that if I get there he will suffocate me with the pillow. I'd rather die.
I truly do.
Sooooooo, when I woke this morning, I was sorry the weekend was over that quickly. I can use another lazy day like yesterday. That was good. I loved it. And I made chilli.
