Tax BS

I submitted my 2008 income tax returns yesterday and was not bad. It wasn't as much as last year since I have to claim as single (I cannot claim B-boy since he is already 23 hehehe), but substantial enough to pay a few bills off, send little more for my mom and help B-boy's trip to Korea. But that all went away as a dream when I got home yesterday. I received a note from the Virginia Taxation office saying that I owe them 3000 dollars on my M3 for last two years.
My car is registered in Florida to avoid this mess but now they caught up with me.
Damn!
I really don't know what to do and don't really want to pay for it. However if I need to, perhaps I should. Before I make that decision, I will have console with my Palestine Mafia buddies...hehehe.
I really don't want to pay that....3000 is a big money lately and I could have bought something nice for myself or for somebody(really nobody).
They are charging me for the late panelty? What the hell? They just sent me the note and telling me I need to pay for the late panelty???
