Tiring day

It's been a hell of the week. Monday we heard Raul's departure...house is full till next Thursday, garage reno hasn't finished, lack of parking for groups...etc.
Yesterday was a hellish day started with shouting guest.
Today was not as better with call from Cyril of parking issue.
What do you want me to do about it?
I cannot squat down and sh*t out parking spaces....when I don't have it, I don't have it.
Which part of I don't have it did you not understand?
But as usual, I am surrounded with idgits, sucking their thumbs and scratching their butts.
Do I have to do everything???

one week

One week without Mike is a bit difficult.
I don't have anybody bringing me a cup of coffee in the morning.
Nobody to turn on my car to be warmed....
I have to change the sheets on the bed but nobody to tuck the sheets in for me...
How inconvenient!
Am I that spoiled???
Yes...yes, I am.

Snow Day

Early yesterday afternoon, I took the Ambian in hope to get some sleep.
This morning, Mike informed me I slept for 12 hours. I was a bit groggy and dizzy but took a hot shower to wake me up.
I didn't know when it started but it snowed. TV was blasting "we are snowed to death" all over. But it snowed....quiet bit.
They said about 7 inches....
Mike when out to put the car to front of our housing in hope to be able to pull out at ease. Thank god for that thinking.
When I walked out, I was shocked to see how much snow there was.
Yup, if they said 7 inches, I believe it now.
We slowly walked up to the car and get it out of the spot in easy manner.
I was shocked to see the plow already came by and plowed the housing....which never happens.
Of course, me driving is NOT even conceivable so I let Mike drove me to work.
I was totally petrofied. Too scared to look and think. I kept my mouth shut and let Mike drive.
At the hotel driveway, saw John covered in snow but still plowing away....what a good boy.

I dropped my bag off in my office and put on my snow boots and went outside.
Cyril was trying to teach me how to use the plow which I didn't have any problem down hill but I wasn't able to move it up hill. I nearly fall flat on my face. But I had a great time, hanging out with guys.

Later on, I got an e-mail from Mike saying that his car was hit by a plow truck.
I wasn't able to comprehend but more talking revealed that a landscaping company who take care of the Geico parking lot plowed in to an Infiniti which was parked next to Mike's car.
It bothered me that that could happpen to my car at home.
I am glad I didn't drive but what if they plow into my parked car????
I know it's just my paranoia but I hope it doesn't happen to me.

Hotel is slow and quiet. Many cancellations but we are taking in many distress passagers which even out the revenue.

What a great snow day!!!
